We encourage feedback and appreciate it when parents let us know about things that are going well or that they particularly like about our school. We also always try to listen to and act upon any improvements you think we could make. We send out an annual parent questionnaire and plan to provide further opportunities for parents views to be shared.

You would like the school to communicate more thoroughly with you about events going on and wider school life. | We have introduced Class Dojo in order to communicate with you more efficiently and frequently. We continue to send text messages for updates too. We now send out a weekly School Newsletter every Friday. We also produced our Facebook Page to update around things happening in and around school. |
You would like to see our school website updated and improved. | We worked hard to achieve this quickly by designing our new website to clearly promote what the school offers. We have also developed our curriculum pages which explain our sequence of learning and overviews. |
You would like the children to have access to more extra-curricular after-school activities and sporting events. |
We continue to provide a range of after-school clubs across both Lower Key Stage 2 and Upper Key Stage 2. We reviewed the activities on offer to cater for all children (outdoor activities, games, social skills, choir, library, sports activities etc.). Our opportunities for sporting events have developed hugely with a dedicated team of staff supporting children attending a wide variety of events and competitions. |
Parents expressed a need for a Breakfast Club to support families preparing for school and work. | We reviewed our budget to support this quickly and launched our Breakfast Club at the start of the Summer Term 2025. All children are offered a place and the cost is heavily subsidised by school to just £1 per day. Children who receive Free School Meals (FSM) do receive this place for free to support families with a healthy breakfast and start to the day. We have also worked closely with "Magic Breakfast" who support school with a range of amazing offers of cereals, milk, bread crumpets and bagels for the children to enjoy. |
Parents highlighted a need for an After-School Club to support families working. | The school continues to review the budget to provide support for all our families. We have launched our new After-School club to start in September 2025 from 3:25pm - 5:00pm. The school understands that some families will require a later time of 5:30pm and will review the budget, staff availability and possibilities of updating this provision termly. |
Parent View gives you the chance to tell OFSTED what you think about your child’s school.
Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of your child’s school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. They will use the information you provide when making decisions about which schools to inspect, and when. A screencast demonstrating how to register and complete a survey on Parent View is available on the How to use Parent View page.
By sharing your views, you’ll be helping your child’s school to improve. You will also be able to see what other parents have said about your child's school. Or, if you want to, view the results for any school in England.
